Tim focuses his practice upon civil litigation, with a particular emphasis upon legal-malpractice defense and commercial disputes, though he has handled a wide variety of matters during his career.  Tim also provides counsel to individuals, professionals, and business entities concerning corporate and transactional matters, including, but not limited to, formation, tactical, operational, and strategic issues, and dissolution.

Tim earned his Juris Doctorate, with honors, from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.  He has litigated a broad spectrum of cases, for a diverse array of clients, including matters in the areas of complex business litigation, probate and trust disputes, white-collar criminal defense, and insurance-coverage litigation, representing clients in Ohio state and federal courts, as well as in the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.  Tim has represented individuals, as well as business entities of all sizes, ranging from sole proprietorships to Fortune 500 multinational corporations.  This diversity in experience has resulted in an aggressive, yet principled and practical, approach to litigation, which has proven most effective for clients, both in terms of success and cost.

Tim is active in the community, including through his service to the Toledo Bar Association.   He has been named by the Ohio Super Lawyers Magazine as a Rising Star for several years, and has also been selected for inclusion in the Toledo Business Journal's Who's Who in Toledo Law.
